Friends off to Bushmills, Viceroy finds Makoya Mix in PE

Jonathan Oliff, a 27-year-old brand strategist and marketing consultant and Sean Tickner, a 30 year old orthotist and prosthetist, are the South African representatives at 'Bushcamp' for the global final of Make it 2 Bushmills. Meanwhile, and Viceroy brandies has found its first Makoya Mix DJ, DJ Spectrum (aka Chad Smith).

Bushmills ready to party

The winning pair was selected by public vote on Facebook to compete against pairs of friends from ten other countries.The final will be judged by the Bushmills master distiller Colum Egan and fans of the brand, including Kevin Baird of Two Door Cinema Club, Jonathan Galkin of DFA Records and Rob Allanson of Whisky Magazine. Mixing it up

The smart spin doctor, Smith, was voted the winner amongst 12 finalists in the national DJ championships, sponsored by Viceroy 5 Year Old Brandy. He now has a R100 000 recording deal that will see him launch his first album in September. He will also be touring the country's major centres soon after, appearing in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban and Johannesburg. Listen to him performing his live winning DJ set at the final.
