JMV on airport space

Two airport media operators, Indiza Media, a recently acquired subsidiary of Primedia Outdoor and Airport Media, have entered into a joint marketing venture (JMV) on ten adjoining indoor advertising sites at Johannesburg International Airport.

In the busy airport advertising environment the key value factors are location, size, and visibility and these sites are positioned in such a manner that the two media owners elected to synergise benefits to clients and to market them as synchronised groupings to maximise impact.

Mzi Deliwe, Managing Director of Indiza Media, says: "Indiza Media holds the advertising rights to several of these sites and following a recent acquisition of further rights at JIA, Airport Media secured the balance - it makes excellent value to our customers to jointly market the ten sites in unison and provide clients with escalated impact."

Suzanne Roberts, Joint Managing Director, Airport Media says: "The new units will offer advertisers wall to wall coverage above the baggage collection belts in the domestic arrivals baggage hall - their impact is going to be powerful, highly impactful, compelling, and, with appropriate creative, captivating."
