"The event was a huge success and we were able to provide them all with more than four items of clothing each," says Charlton Williams, area principal for Pam Golding Properties, which operates in Goodwood, Athlone and Belhar.
"In addition to the clothes, we distributed 30 blankets, 50 pairs of socks and 50 beanies and provided at least two helpings each of food, including soup, curry and rice, rolls and cold drinks.
"Our sincere thanks and appreciation for their help and generosity goes to VGV Attorneys, who partnered with us for this event and to clients, families and friends and our own staff and agents for donating clothing and other useful items. All the clothes which were left at the end of the day were handed over to the shelter for their thrift shop."
