Koula, ProVerb for Sundays on Highveld

Koula spent this past festive season filling in for various presenters on 94.7. ProVerb's on-air role may be a change from his television career, but he is confident that he won't disappoint listeners.

"I'm thrilled to be joining the 94.7 family. Johannesburg is a city I feel passionate about and I'm excited to be part of its vibe," says Koula, who has worked in the radio industry for over 10 years and loves South African music. "It's safe to say I'm obsessed with music and I would like to bring my passion for music to the airwaves."

ProVerb may be best known for hosting season 6 of South African Idols in 2010, but his radio career has been blossoming since 2003, when he worked as producer for various stations. With months of on-air training behind him, ProVerb is excited about this new opportunity:

"This is the highest point of my radio career and I am over the moon to be part of this amazing group. I feel as though all my past experience has allowed me to get to this point and I look forward to bringing a new perspective and personality to the station."
