Each programme director will then get to schedule one hour of music; and, from 6am to 7pm on Friday, they will have their selection played and judged. At the end of each hour, listeners will vote on whether that playlist rocked or not. If it was a hit, then that programme director gets an Xbox; if not, the Xbox goes to a listener.
"A birthday is always a good day to take a break from your usual routine... We are celebrating our birthday on Friday with a selection of music as chosen by our listeners, while our usual programme manager will be out celebrating along with the rest us!" said 5FM station manager Helen Graham.
