She has extensive experience in the advertising and marketing industry. She grew through the ranks of several of the big advertising agencies leading to her appointment as deputy MD of Meridian Advertising for the Ogilvy Group. She later ran her own advertising agency and film production company for some 20 years.
"I regard this opportunity as a real privilege. I come into an operation that has a very sound base, with the potential to become the strongest commercial radio station in the country based on a need amongst consumers. I couldn't ask for a better outlet to share the experience that I have gained over the past few decades," says Klatzko.
She adds, she will be prioritising broadening the station's footprint and demonstrating consumer reach of the station. Even though the station broadcasts in the Gauteng region, it also has a wider online audience across South Africa and internationally with over 40,000 online audiences streaming monthly.
