Gibs South Africa's Economic Outlook Conference: Charting the Road to Recovery hosted by Prof Saville
Good news at last for energy sapped South Africans. In a surprise move, President Ramaphosa’s announcement on energy has changed the trajectory and speed with which the economy can begin to recover. Suddenly, investment looks more likely, growth attainable and we have green shoots everywhere. And it got better. The prolonged South African Airways saga appears resolved, and we have reason to feel more optimistic. A welcome shot in the arm!
This news was well received, but we remain cautiously optimistic as South Africa's economy was arguably in dire straits pre-Covid, and we are at a critical inflection point which is make or break time. What we do now, the decisions we take, and more importantly how we implement them, will be the difference between recovery and failure.
For executives, senior managers and teams grappling with immediate and long term strategy, do not miss this hard-hitting conference where we take bold and decisive steps to find solutions and identify opportunities.
