World-class Lego exhibition comes to Joburg

The Art of the Brick, a world-class exhibit geared for the whole family, students and Lego fans of all ages will open at the TheZone@Rosebank on 3 April and will run until 2 August, 2015. There will be 75 original artworks and sculptures by Nathan Sawaya that needed more than 1 million Lego bricks.

The Art of The Brick aims to inspire artwork through unique art forms and has attracted millions of visitors worldwide in the US, Europe, Australia, Asia and now South Africa. The Art of the Brick is moving to Joburg after a fantastic reception in Cape Town since December 2014.

The Art of the Brick artist, Nathan Sawaya, is excited to showcase his work for the first time in Gauteng. Sawaya said: "This country is one of the most amazing places I have been to on my travels and I am thrilled to be coming back and bringing The Art of the Brick to Johannesburg."
