Call to enter Southern Youth Film Festival
The the call for entries for the Youth Film Competition 2010 is open to young filmmakers, worldwide, between the ages of 14 and 35. The deadline for entries is 25 November, 2010.
SUFF International Short Film Festival delivers a colourful celebration of the best in local and international short filmmaking made by young filmmakers. The festival will be held between 19 and 21 December, 2010.
The festival accepts short films in the genres/sub-genres of: drama, action, thriller, comedy, animation, and factual. Films can be between five and 15 minutes in length.
Nordic Youth Film Festival
The top four films will win the opportunity to attend and screen their films at the Nordic Youth Film Festival held in Tromso, Norway, in June 2011 along with many other prizes.
Should their films be selected, filmmakers must guarantee that permission from the rights holder is secured for a minimum of four screenings at the Southern Youth Film Festival 2010.
Filmmakers are requested to submit DVD PAL and MOV or AVI screeners of their films and a brief filmmaker biography. Once selected, filmmakers will be forwarded the official application details and festival regulations.
Please note that no screeners will be returned.
