GoDriveIn Roadhouse to open in Cape Town in September
The GoDriveIn Roadhouse is set to spark a retro revival in the mother city when it opens at 346B Victoria Road in Salt River on 1 September 2020.
Attendees will be able to support local food trucks - including Mexikaap Food, Mother Libations, Wraps, Poppies Pizzas on Wheels, Russy's Fast foods, James Currys, Angy’s, Truck Norris and Vetkoek - between 9am and 5pm in the lead-up to the opening of the old school drive-in scheduled for later in September.
The GoDriveIn Roadhouse will be open daily (except on Sundays) from 9am to 5pm and is tailored for everyone from families to foodies.
Order gourmet, drive-in treats like burgers, waffles and ice-cream and if that’s not your style there will be a selection of other foods such as wraps, curries, Mexican, pizzas, ice-cream and a bakery to buy from.
Later in September GoDriveIn will also be open as a movie screening venue from 5pm from Thursdays to Sundays weekly.
