South African singer Jmaxx to launch song in US
Jmaxx, South Afric's rising star, recently landed a coveted deal with Many Moods Music - a New York based record label.
Jmaxx has been a performer and artist for several years - being equally adept as a vocalist and dancer. Now, after years of working on his music locally, Many Moods Music recognised his talent and signed him as their first international artist. His years of unflinching hard work will culminate in the international launch of his single "Born to be Famous" in Brooklyn on 27 September.
Benefit dinner
Jmaxx kicks off his showcase tour of the United States in Atlanta, Georgia with a listening party and benefit dinner for the Make A Wish Foundation, after which he will be jetting off to New York to headline at several of the most popular clubs in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
The mini-tour finishes on 27 September with the official release party and show at 5 Spot in Brooklyn. "Born to be Famous" has been mixed by five-time Grammy Award nominated producer, Craig Bauer, while the equally skilled producer, Kriss Young has mixed a kicking electro-version of the same track.
"The excitement is building fast - I can't wait to get on the plane," an excited Jmaxx said. "I have prepared a spectacular show for US audiences, so I really look forward to performing for them."
