JT Productions offers training and recording facilities
SAMA nominated singer Jacques Terre'Blanche is now offering services to aspiring local musicians. Through his company, JT Productions, he will offer vocal training and will put together demo recordings at an affordable cost for those who are serious about making a career in the music business. His studio is based in Jukskei Park in Johannesburg's northern suburbs.
"I have always treated my music as a business and in this day and age where the industry is challenging, we all have to look for alternative revenue streams," said Terre'Blanche, who shot to fame as a runner up in Idols in 2003. "I am fortunate enough to have studio facilities to be able to run this operation and I take great joy out of working with and developing others who hold the same passion for music as I do."
Terre'Blanche has had a successful career spanning almost a decade. He trained in vocal performance from a young age and read a degree in jazz and classical music (with vocal as his instrument of choice) at the University of Cape Town. He has had no fewer than five chart-topping songs and has collaborated with the likes of Akon, Jackie Jackson. His latest collaboration is with local icon Sipho "Hotstix" Mabuse on his current single 'Goodnight Moon', which is play listed in most major radio stations, has charted in the top ten on the Kia Take 40 SA.
