Fashionably in aid of charity

South African celebrities will unite with top fashion designers for the In Style charity fashion show, in association with Elizabeth Arden Go Red for Women, taking place at this year's Cape Town Fashion Week – with Marc Bouwer making his South African debut at the event and supermodel Oluchi modelling his garment.

The charity fashion show will take place at the Cape Town Convention Centre on Thursday, 9 August 2007 at 9.30pm.

Produced by Jan Malan, each of the top designers have been asked to create a spectacular garment in red, which will be modelled by their favourite celebrity in celebration of Women's Day this year. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the World Heart Federation.

Local designers who are participating include Darkie, David Tlale, Errol Arendz, Gavin Rajah, Gert van de Merwe, Gideon, Habits, Hip Hop, Julian, Karen Monk Klinjstra, Klûk CDGT, Kobus Dippenaar for Catriona Andrews, Lunar, Malick, Marianne Fassler, Marion & Lindie, Maya Prass, Paul van Zyl, Philosophy by Jenni Button, Rosenwerth, Spiero Villioti, Stiaan Louw, Stoned Cherrie, Sun Goddess, and Zinzi.

In Style is published by Time Inc. and Media24 Women's Magazines.
