Media partner for inaugural South African Challenge
The daily financial supplement, which is published in The Star, Cape Times, Daily News and Pretoria News, has come on board as the official media partner of The South African Challenge. As part of the agreement Business Report has secured branding rights to the event and will enter a team into the challenge. The event will also be televised, providing a platform for sponsors and entrants alike.
βBusiness Report is very happy to be associated with The South African Challenge, an intelligent, thinking person's pursuit,β says Jabulani Sikhakhane, editor of Business Report. βThe Challenge provides a clever mix of physical, intellectual and strategic challenges. It is a great and fun way for making new contacts and getting to know one's colleagues better.β
The South African Challenge is a team development adventure for businesses based on the highly effective and proven Intelligent Sport concept. Teams will be required to use their skill and knowledge developed in their corporate environment to complete a series of challenges in the outdoors using lateral thinking, vision planning and target setting.
No two challenges are the same and participants could find themselves kayaking, running, rafting, mountain biking or even traversing the rough terrain of the Breedekloof valley.
The top four South African teams will then compete in the Intelligent Sport World Series in December 2007 in Nice, France against top business teams from Singapore, Britain, Portugal, Sweden, Ireland and the USA for the title of Best Business Team in the World.
