Elle takes African fashion to Paris
This year sees Elle launch L'Afrique A Porter - six designers from Africa showing their collections at the world's premier ready-to-wear fashion event in Paris.
With 2000 international media delegates attending Paris Fashion Week in October, L'Afrique a Porter Paris provides an unprecedented platform for African designers and brands operating in this arena. Showing at The Louvre, probably the most prestigious venue in Paris that week, alongside houses like Dior, Chanel and Valentino, this African showcase will feature designers from all over the continent with supermodels like Liya Kebede (face of Estee Lauder) and Oluchi Onweagba (first winner Face of Africa) gracing the catwalk.
The event will be featured on Studio 53 which broadcasts throughout Africa on the DStv Africa bouquet and will be supported by Elle and other lifestyle-orientated media. This aspirational and glamorous project offers a superb opportunity for leverage by a brand reflecting these attributes.
A groundbreaking platform for African designers to achieve exposure to this global audience, this event in October presents a multi-media opportunity for an appropriate brand to partner with Elle South Africa. For more information please contact or call Vicki on 082-448-6595.
