Crunching numbers with Brent Palmer
Brent Palmer's Credit Crunch allows one to have an enjoyable laugh at the hard financial times, everyone is experiencing at the moment. It's a smooth flowing show which will leave you feeling uplifted.
Dinner at Obz Café is the perfect activity before watching any of their current shows. There is a wonderful atmosphere, the food is delicious and you can even enjoy it in the theatre.
Brent Palmer is a natural comedian and takes you back to his roots in Grassy Park and compares it with trendy Gardens, which is as badly affected by the recession. We are all feeling the pinch so he makes us realize that we might as well laugh about it.
Palmer gave an excellent spin on typical Cape Colored humor, taking inspiration from growing up in Grassy Park and sharing his experiences of living there, he tackles issues of money and the divide it causes while explaining that in these hard times it is now taking its toll on everyone, no matter where they live!
Times are tough, but we may as well as see the funny side of it for a few hours.
It's obvious that Palmer has made his mark in the performing arts world. The show flows beautifully and he is never at a loss for words or laughs. I would highly recommend everyone to see it for a good laugh.
