Darren Maule's does Seriously Funny

For the past 19 years, Maule's versatility as a mime, trained theatrical actor and stand-up comedian has made him a name which, somewhere along the line, we remember. He was "that" guy on Survivor SA Santa Carolina or perhaps you remember his great repartee with co-host Pabi Moloi on PlayTV, his sharp cutting wit on "Out the Box" and "Last Say on Sunday" or maybe you remember him as the dark horse/comic relief in the multi-award winning "Hard Copy" TV drama series.

However you remember him, Seriously Funny combines Maule's skills as a comedian, actor and physical performer to tell the story - as only he can - of all his ups and downs, highs and lows, for better or for worse and to show that there is always, always space for comedy in life.

He uses his story-telling ability to demonstrate how absolutely anything can be funny. For the first time he will tell of his sometimes sordid, certainly colourful and definitely not boring life. He takes you through the burgeoning days of comedy when stand-up comics really were the rock stars of the entertainment industry and when nobody behaved more like a rock star than Darren Maule! He survived his lifestyle of sex, drugs and rock 'n roll and has emerged stronger, better and funnier and he just keeps achieving.

Tickets are R100 each and will be available at the door of Mardi Gras, Carnival City on the night of each performance. The Box Office opens at 6PM before each performance, which begins at 8PM.
