Media to cover Malema trial

NEWSWATCH: First they couldn't, now they can - the media that is... can cover Julius Malema's trial on multiple charges, reports news24. BDLive reports the owner of Goldfields newspaper is to testify against Media24, and Google and Microsoft have agreed to measures to block images of child abuse, reports the BBC.

    The BBC reports that Google and Microsoft have agreed to measures to make it harder to find child abuse images online.

    According to the BBC report, the companies are also using their technological expertise to help in the identification of abuse images and will provide the technology to the National Crime Agency and other organisations "to help in the work of finding and detecting those behind the creating and sharing of child abuse images."
