Firm makes bags of cash
Have you ever saved up for a designer handbag costing more than R10 000, only to have it go out of fashion?

A Johannesburg company is making money from cash-strapped fashionistas who simply have to wear the latest designer offerings on their arms, and is renting bags out for up to R1400 a week.
Archana Sinha and her husband, Shamika, own a business that couriers designer bags - from fashion houses including Fendi, Jimmy Choo and Prada - to women who want their friends to believe that they have an enviable handbag collection.
Sinha, who launched her business last month, said she was not inspired by the film Sex in the City but had rather heard of the idea taking off in the US and Europe.
"Nothing is as sad as watching your expensive designer bag that cost you more than R7000 gather dust in a cupboard because the fashion trend has moved on," she said.
