Woodstock development offers work, live, play
Retail offerings overlooking the naturally-lit enclosed atrium, which was decorated by the Whatiftheworld Gallery, include Vida è Caffe, a Scar Hair salon, Pronto - a fast and healthy food takeaway restaurant, Healing Hands - a massage and alternative therapy outlet and a Hurley Clothing store. For the art lovers and homebodies, there is Museum, a contemporary photographic art gallery and Studio Casa, a high-end furniture and interior design showroom.
The four star Upper Eastside Hotel and Conference Centre is the area's first luxury hotel. Decorated in a 'glam-with-a-touch-of-funk' style, Liberty's restaurant and the eStreet Bar and Lounge is where executive chef Simon Kemp produces contemporary all-day dining or tapas.
"The chic interiors, variety of retail offerings and proximity to the CBD and major motorways, make the development an unexpected oasis for residents, visitors and guests at the hotel," says Caroline Coates, marketing executive of Redefine Property Holdings.
The development has already played host to several major events including the annual Cosmopolitan Lingerie Show, the launch of Italian jeans brand, Fornarina and a charity musical event featuring, amongst others, Ard Matthew's (lead singer of Just Jinger), Hugh Masekela and Zolani (lead singer of Freshly Ground).
