Airline industry veteran returns to Africa
Nigel Page, recently appointed senior vice president for Emirates Airline's Africa region, has marked his new appointment with a visit to South Africa. In addition to overseeing the Africa region for Emirates, Page is also responsible for the Americas, resulting in his portfolio covering almost half of the globe.
He has been with Emirates for over 16 years and has extensive knowledge extending from over 41 years in the airline industry. In addition to this, he brings enormous insight and experience from a marketing perspective, to his new position.
"Emirates Airline is committed to the African region; this is evident from the launch of three flights a week to Angola in August this year and the launch of our Durban route in October. We currently have 16 destinations in Africa and are continuously looking for new opportunities around the globe," says Page.
