Deon Fourie cited
DHL Western Province flank and captain Deon Fourie was cited on Monday, 9 September 2013, for making contact with the face in the eye area of Sharks looseforward Keegan Daniel during their Absa Currie Cup clash in Cape Town on Saturday, 7 September.
Fourie was cited for contravening Law 10.4(m). The incident occurred in the 12th minute after Daniel pulled Fourie to the ground. No action was taken by the referee.
Fourie will appear before a disciplinary committee in Cape Town on today, Tuesday, 10 September 2013, at 12pm. Advocate Donny Jacobs has been appointed as the judicial officer.
