Volvo Golf Champions returns to Durban

Entry is restricted to those who have either won an event on the 2013 European Tour's schedule or who are long-term champions who have won ten or more titles during their career. As such, it features those who are in form and emerging onto the world's stage, as well as some of golf's most popular, well-known and established stars.

On Friday, the second day, the Volvo Golf Champions joins forces for one round with the Volvo World Golf Challenge. In this, the best-placed finishers from the seventy or so world finalists team up with two of the professionals to form a team of three; this event is known as Playing With The Pros. Whilst the professionals continue to compete in their individual stroke play format, the amateurs play alongside them with the best two scores of the three on each hole counting for the team.
