Cape Union Mart has launched its first experiential Adventure Centre in Gauteng - a 1000m2 mega store at Eastgate Shopping Centre.

With a state-of-the-art GPS navigation station, a temperature controlled cold chamber, and a challenging three metre climbing wall, the retail space offers customers an outdoor experience, indoors.
Taking design cues and identifying emerging retail trends from leading retailers in the US and Europe, Cape Union Mart's Adventure Centre has come to fruition after 12 months of conceptualisation and planning.
Said group marketing manager Evan Torrance: “This must-see concept store is the result of a significant capital investment and a bold move to further entrench Cape Union Mart as South Africa's favourite outdoor retailer."
Stocking leading brands such as K-Way, First Ascent, Hi-tec, Salomon, Petzl, Leatherman and Garmin, the Adventure Centre will host regular interactive presentations by well-respected outdoor experts as well as in-store challenges such as wall climbing competitions.
The Cape Union Mart Adventure Centre is open from 09h00 to 21h00, seven days a week and can be located at Shop U115, Eastgate Shopping Centre, Bedfordview.
