Launch of Johnnie Walker Sunday Times Nation's Greatest Awards
To identify and honour the inspirational South Africans who have contributed towards making our nation great, whether it is through their career or a single selfless act, the inaugural Johnnie Walker Sunday Times Nation's Greatest Awards have been launched.
Finalists in the seven categories must be in by 25 August and, following the judging process from 1-25 September, the overall category winners will be announced on 7 October 2013.

"This year Johnnie Walker launched the Keep Walking South Africa campaign, which aims to inspire personal progression by acknowledging great South African's achievements. Linked to this campaign, we have partnered with the Sunday Times to launch these awards, which will publicly acknowledge these remarkable individuals," says Melanie Campbell, Johnnie Walker marketing manager.
