Enter the Oliver Empowerment and Transformation Awards
Over the past eleven years the Oliver Empowerment and Transformation Awards has recognised and celebrated South Africa's black economic empowerment champions. The Oliver's is the country's most influential black awards ceremony, recognising leadership and innovation in black empowerment. The Oliver's celebrates companies and individuals in the public and private sectors that are excelling in their initiatives driving job creation, entrepreneurship and enterprise development.
Transformation is not simply a moral initiative to redress the wrongs of the past and its political connotations, rather it is a pragmatic growth strategy that aims to realise the country's full economic potential while helping to bring the black majority into the economic mainstream.
Being an Oliver Award winner opens new opportunities for your business through networking opportunities, elevates your brand through media exposure while getting recognition by the country's top business leaders for your BEE initiatives. Past winners of the Oliver Awards have been established as transformational leaders in South Africa and gained international recognition. Nominations for the 12th annual Oliver Empowerment Awards have opened, and the winners will be announced at a high profile gala dinner in Johannesburg on 19 March 2013. To request an entry form, please visit www.oliverawards.co.za.
Entering and attending the Oliver's provides a stepladder to top level business networking. The Oliver's is a platform for business leaders in empowerment, transformation and the economic development sector to spread their wings and access information and connections they would not be normally privy to.
To nominate an individual or company, visit www.oliverawards.co.za. This is your chance to put forward those who you believe have made a difference in the economy of South Africa and the country's strive towards full potential of black empowerment and communication across the length of unemployment in this country.
