Boss of the Year finalists announced

The six finalists competing for this year's Boss of the Year Award have been selected from a total of 283 nominations nationwide, after a lengthy, intensive judging process.

The six role models of excellent workplace leadership are:

David Botha, Executive Director, South African Institute of Civil Engineering

Henry Sambane, Production Director, Crabtree Electrical

Vanessa Bluen, Managing Director, The Consultant Powerhouse

Johan Viljoen, Mine Manager Mponeng Anglogold Ashanti

Piliswe Twala-Tau, Regional Director: Region3, City of Joburg

Ismail Dockrat, CEO, Wesgro

The finalists will meet a panel of judges on Thursday 6 October and the Boss of the Year 2005 will be announced at a banquet lunch on 14 October at the Sandton Sun & Towers.
