Today's Al Jazeera industry presentation moves to The Forum

Hosted by Encounters 2012, the Al Jazeera commissioning editors will discuss the programmes background, followed by a Q&A session and informal drinks.

Speakers

• Jon Blair, Al Jazeera English acting commissioning editor for major series, specials and discussion programmes.
  
• Dominique Young, senior producer based in Al Jazeera English's bureau in London, commissions a wide range of documentaries on African and Middle Eastern subject matter, for broadcast in the channel's flagship observational documentary strand Witness, as well as other documentary seasons.
  
• Diarmuid Jeffreys is an award-winning journalist and television producer with almost 30 years of experience in the media industry. Since late 2008, he has been an editor and executive producer at Al Jazeera English.
