The date is set, the limo booked and the red carpet is laid out for this year's Mother City Queer Project. Taking place on 20 December 2008 in Harrington Street, MCQP 2008, in proud association with Good Hope FM, will be all about the Hollywood golden years.

The event takes place under the biggest movie set in South African history, boasting the full red carpet treatment. MCQP 'Lights, Camera, Action!' promises a night to remember with outrageous and fun concepts which include paparazzi, personal photo shoots and TV interviews, as well as live entertainment from renowned SA artists - all fit for a Hollywood drama queen!

Featuring five dance floors and the ultimate VIP area (with real VIP celebrities!) - party enthusiasts can perform dirty-dancing throughout the night while quenching their thirst at one of five bars. The VIP area provides guests with an exclusive meet and greet with a mystery international guest (details to be announced later) and if you're up for the full VIP package, MCQP can offer a private limo service to and from the red carpet for you and a group of friends.

Guests can purchase tickets in the comfort of their own home through www.webtickets.co.za. What's more, users can select their movie star status and upload their photos online. MCQP will have a booth available on the night for all your uploading and printing requirements. Tickets are currently on sale.
