Networking at WiMax World 2008

WiMAX World 2008 is Africa's opportunity to deliver high speed services to everybody across the African continent. Research has proven that Africa has become one of the most important growth markets in GSM mobile communications outside of Europe. Since the introduction of services in April 1994, a staggering 16 million African subscribers have joined the mobile world – and this number climbs every day.

The networking event takes place from July 14 – 17, 2008 in Cape Town.

Today's customer wants broadband access that is mobile, ubiquitous, personalised and accessible across a variety of environments, work settings and networks. WiMAX World 2008 will provide the opportunity to investigate the leading technology in broadband access. Evaluate the business case for WiMAX and compare first hand its exceptional portability, ease of deployment, and reduction in operating cost.

The two day conference will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) to enable players in the industry to gain an understanding into the latest opportunities for investing in Africa's lucrative WIMAX technology and to be able to better share models for growth with industry's chiefs and analyse the challenges, opportunities and best practices in Africa's broadband market.
