Red dot awards - BMW takes six

The Rolls-Royce Ghost won “red dot: best of the best” award for the very highest level of design quality in the category Automobiles, Transport and Caravans.

The BMW 5 Series Sedan, BMW X1 and BMW motorcycle F 800 R won red dot awards and there were two honourable mentions for the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo and BMW motorcycle S 1000 RR.

The awards will be presented at a gala event at the Aalto Theatre in Essen, Germany on 5 July 2010.
