"Although the new e-store will have a full online offering, we understand our customers' need for personal contact - hence the provision of product demonstrations, technical support and after sales service. This store is the first step towards offering expert advice and service to our customers in remote areas," says Marco van Niekerk, CEO of Incredible Connection.
He said although the size of the store would be limited with only key categories on display, the range of products would not be restricted as the model relied on customers ordering online. The company will also offer technical back-up support.
Van Niekerk added the company was continuously establishing ways to add greater value for customers and further differentiate the brand. "The e-Stores are part of the plan to increase its national footprint and consolidate its position as South Africa's leading consumer technology retailer. The company plans to roll out more stores by the end of the year," he conlcuded.
