Website offers dads-to-be masculine baby goods
Rockin' Baby is a website that offers dads-to-be and new dads an alternative to frilly pink baby goods by offering high quality, yet funky baby gear in a variety of masculine designs, such as diaper bags, changing stations, bottle holders, pacifier pouches and blankets from Diaper Dude and Dad Gear - two leading brands in the US. The website is the sole importer and sales agent for both companies in South Africa.
The idea is JP Quickelberge's, a proud new dad, who discovered after searching for cool baby gear that South Africa offered very little choice without bunnies or frills.
"The two famous companies in the States where I source my products from, where founded by dads who create the coolest bags for babies and gear for dads. Diaper Dad has been featured on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and on design expert and best-selling author, Nate Berkus' daytime television show. Dad Gear has been featured in Time magazine and some of their products have been shown on CNBC's The Big Idea programme. Once I tried out their products I was stoked by the high quality hardware, hard core zippers and funky fabrics," he shares.
