Keedo gets kitted online

The site, www.keedo.com, aims to offer a compelling shopping experience with intuitive navigation and an added zoom function that allows customers to view all garment detail. Another benefit is the gifting option where customers can opt to add gift wrapping and a personal message.

With the online market that has expanded almost 112.5% since 2000 to approximately 5 million online users today, according to www.internetworldstats.com, it would be shortsighted to not accommodate online needs of customers.

Says Nelia Schutte, founder of Keedo: "We've found that we have a lot of customers that may not live close to major cities and since launching also received a number of requests of overseas clients to deliver gifts to friends and family in South Africa.

"We realise that the ecommerce market has its own challenges, but we see the potential of ecommerce and are very excited about the possibilities."

Although delivery is currently only in South Africa, Keedo is planning to roll out their UK and US websites in the near future.
