2012 ELLE New Talent Fresh Face
Port Elizabeth schoolgirl Chloe Munton won the 2012 ELLE New Fresh Face Talent Search, held in partnership with South Africa's largest quality retailer Woolworths. ELLE announced the winner recently at an event held at Daylight Studios in Bree Street, Cape Town.
Seventeen-year-old Munton will now launch her modelling career with a portfolio and contract from Boss Models, clothes and make-up worth R20 000 from Woolworths and the chance to star in the Woolworths 2012 winter and summer campaigns and in the April 2012 issue of ELLE.
The talented teenager, who also studies art and plays the guitar, has a busy year ahead. "I would like to make my main focus modelling from now on, but I still have to focus on Matric next year," she says.
This was the second year the magazine partnered with Woolworths in the search for a young woman who embodies beauty, health and a positive spirit.
The ELLE New Talent Fresh Face Search is an "elegant and youthful way" to find a new face, said Linda Bruchhausen of BOSS Models. 'The whole process was typical of ELLE's elegance.' Bruchhausen added that the purpose of the search was to 'launch a career'. Munton is featured, along with the five other finalists, in the January 1012 issue of ELLE.
