With a 35% increase in ad revenue for the fiscal and a 12% increase in circulation, FHM won its second successive Best Male Magazine award at last week's AdMag Awards, putting the crowning touch on "a hugely successful year's trading," according to publisher Kim Browne.
Beginning April 2004, FHM's goal for the fiscal was to improve revenue through both advertising and copy sales, says Browne.
FHM significantly increased its ad page count during the year in review, bolstering ad sales revenue by some 35% in the process. Likewise, FHM increased circulation by 12% lifting copy sales from 105 194 to 118 428 according to the latest available ABC figures.
FHM is SA's top retail sales value monthly magazine, generating annual RSV of R41.2 million.
