Men's Health voted Best Men's Magazine for 5th year
Men's Health publisher, Andrew Sneddon, comments on the continued success of the mag: "This is the fifth year in a row that Men's Health has walked away with the coveted Best Men's Magazine award, re-emphasising the popularity of our mag in the male lifestyle market. It's been an excellent year for MH - our circulation continues to increase (we had record sales in October of just over 98 000), we've had our best ever advertising support (Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec issues all over 300 pages), the product has never looked better and our new editor Andy Ellis won a Mondi award - the victory was very sweet this year as there was strong competition from the other lifestyle and lad magazines."
Andy Ellis, editor of Men's Health echoes this sentiment, saying that, "Men's Health is more than just a magazine; it's a way of life for today's man. Editorially, we pride ourselves in providing consistent information and advice across all the elements of 'guy existence'. Being voted Best Men's Magazine confirms our success at empowering our readers with all the tools they need to move with the time, love life and be the best man possible."
"The much coveted award for Best Men's Magazine has been presented to Men's Health for the past four years," comments Touchline Media MD & CEO Marc Blachowitz, "2004 marks the fifth consecutive win for the magazine - a remarkable achievement for the Men's Health team and something that no other magazine has ever accomplished. This sets the tone for Touchline Media as South Africa's leading magazine publisher in the sports and lifestyle sector and shows the true commitment and absolute adherence to superior and world class publishing standards by a massively talented and committed team."
