Beeld and MFC launch motoring magazine

Beeld, in conjunction with the MFC (Motor Finance Corporation) has launched a new fortnightly full colour A4-sized motoring magazine, which appears every second Tuesday of the month. The MFC Magazine is a motoring industry publication aimed at potential second-hand vehicle buyers and includes all stock from the MFC along with its chain of dealers.

"Launching the MFC Magazine was the next natural move for Beeld and the MFC considering that in the past year, Afrikaans-speaking South Africans bought 34.7% of second-hand cars and 29.3% of new cars," says Pieter Bruwer, Advertising Manager for Beeld. "Of these recent buyers, 43.2% indicated that price was a key factor in their decision to buy while 44.3% said that advertising was a major influencer for them."

The magazine, a continuation of the success of the weekly Wielie magazine that's distributed every Saturday; and the monthly IDA (Independent Dealer's Association) Magazine that appears every last Tuesday of each month in Beeld, is proof that the strong relationship between car dealers and Beeld benefits dealers, advertisers and Beeld readers alike.

"To date, Beeld, a trusted source of information to 364 000 daily readers, has upheld an exceptional record of protecting local car buyers and promoting the services of a very reputable and trusted dealer network to our readers," says Pieter.
