Sneddon leaves Touchline for 8 Ink

Andrew Sneddon has been appointed as MD of 8 Ink Media, joining Sam Sneddon in the family business, it was announced this afternoon, Wednesday, 27 February 2008. Sneddon was formally an executive director at Touchline Media.

He joined the company in 1997 and for the last two years oversaw the Health and Lifestyle division comprising Men's Health, MH Living, Best Life, Runner's World, Bicycling, Shape, Fit Pregnancy and Discovery magazines.

Commented Sneddon on his appointment, “It's great to be formally part of the 8 Ink family. 8 Ink has an incredibly strong portfolio of media brands, which are well positioned for future growth in both the print and digital space.”

8 Ink Media publishes youth titles seventeen and National Geographic Kids. It is also the publisher of the award-winning Real Simple magazine, which speaks to educated 35+ women, and Standard Bank's Phat Stuff.

8 Ink Media is owned in partnership by The Sneddon Family Trust and Media24.
