Tanya Kovarsky, new editor of Essentials magazine

Kovarsky's appointment is part of its ongoing intention to promote from within. She has been part of the Caxton family for many years and started her career working on the North Eastern Tribune as a writer, photographer and sub-editor. Her switch to magazine life started at Elle Decoration before moving on to Marie Claire and then ThisDay daily newspaper. She then joined Food & Home Entertaining, where she worked as managing editor and deputy editor.

“I am excited to be working on a great and honest title that perfectly addresses the needs of the busy woman. From speedy meals and flash beauty tricks to relationship solutions and health information, it's all there, and I'm looking forward to having a hand in it,” enthuses Kovarsky on her appointment.
