Glynis O'Hara new Femina editor

BREAKING NEWS: Glynis O'Hara, currently editorial director of Media24 Africa, has been appointed as editor of Femina, following the resignation of Robynne Kahn earlier this month. The announcement was made today, Tuesday, 30 January 2007, by Media24, which acquired the title from Associated Magazines in November 2006.

"Glynis does not only bring years of experience to the Media24 Women's Magazine Division, but she has a clear understanding of the women's magazine environment. There is no doubt in my mind that she will embrace the challenge to lead Femina to great success," says Media24 Women's Magazines Division publisher MarĂ Lategan.

O'Hara brings with her 31 years of experience in print and publishing. As editorial director of Media24 Africa, she has been managing five magazines, True Love East Africa, True Love West Africa, Drum East Africa, Kick Off Nigeria and TV24 in Angola.

Before joining the Media24 Africa team, O'Hara was deputy editor of True Love in Johannesburg, where she worked with Khanyi Dhlomo for six years.

O'Hara will join the Femina team in April.
