Inaugural FNB Free State Wine Show
The inaugural FNB Free State Wine Show comes to Bloemfontein on 1-2 August 2013 from 5-9pm, at Emoya Luxury Hotel & Spa only 7km from the city. It will boast more than 40 exhibitors, including Beyerskloof, Boekenhoutskloof, Diemersfontein, Ernie Els Wines, Spier, Vrede en Lust and Zevenwacht, to name a few and round off the evening with Oude Molen Brandies.
The wine show is directed by wine authority Michael Fridjhon and organised by OutSorceress Marketing, the team responsible for presenting some of the country's best wine shows including RMB WineX. Says Fridjhon, "Bloemfontein has been part of our wine show planning for some time. For several years we presented a tasting of top Cape wines to Free State audiences; it was evident from the outset that the country's wine makers should be spending more time in the region. Out of this the FNB Free State Wine Show was born - an annual event representative of the very best of South African wine.
"Wine shows are a little like marriage brokers - they bring together like-minded people and leave them to discover just how far their common ground will take them. They work best when producers who have something extraordinary to offer meet up with people who love wine," adds Fridjhon.
Ticket price is R120, which includes unlimited tastings and wine tasting glass. For more information, go to www.freestatewineshow.co.za.
