EXSA events include IFES World Summit

The Exhibition and Event Association of Southern Africa (EXSA) has announced that the International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES) is hosting its 2013 annual AGM and conference, the IFES World Summit, in Cape Town on 28-29 June 2013. This is the first time the conference will be on African soil, and it is expected to attract approximately 150 international delegates from 39 countries.

The theme is 'Creating Value in the Global Exhibition Industry to Ensure Growth and Sustainability'. EXSA has endorsed this event and its members will receive discounted registration fees.

Sign, print, display and print expos

EXSA member, Practical Publishing, has announced that its 2013 Sign Africa Expo, Africa Print Expo and Visual Communication Expo will take place at Johannesburg's Sandton Convention Centre from 21-23 August 2013.

Widely regarded as the gateway into Africa for the sign, print, display and wide-format print industries, last year's expos attracted over 5850 visitors and greater numbers are expected to attend in 2013.

"The company has already kicked off international marketing campaigns to attract overseas visitors and we look forward to welcoming growing volumes from all over the African continent and further afield this year," says Dylan Copeland.
