Platinum Label Johnnie Walker goes for R76k
Lyall Mc Evoy was the winning bidder for the collector's bottle of Johnnie Walker Platinum Label, signed by master blender, Jim Beveridge and the only one of its kind available in South Africa.
After all bids were verified, McEvoy's proffer of R76 000 saw him receive the bottle on 28 September 2012 at the Johnnie Walker One Bottle Liquor Store in Melrose Arch Johannesburg. All proceeds raised will be donated to the non-profit organisation, South Africans Against Drunk Driving.
Johnnie Walker Platinum Label is available at leading bottle stores countrywide at a recommended retail price of R999.90.
