The Five Nations Wine Challenge between Argentina, Australia, Chile, New Zealand and South Africa, is an adaptation of the Tri-Nations Wine Challenge, which had previously excluded the South American countries. The competition rates wines selected exclusively by a panel of five judges, one from each country.
Fleur du Cap also won a gold medal for the Unfiltered Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 at the Five Nations and a gold medal for the Unfiltered Chardonnay 2009 and three silver medals for the Unfiltered Chardonnay 2010, Unfiltered Viognier 2010 and Unfiltered Sauvignon Blanc 2011 at the Michelangelo International Wine Awards.
