Riebeek Valley Olive Festival set for May

Last year's winner of the West Coast Tourism Awards in the 'tourism event' category and an official event on Cape Town Tourism's 'Cape of Great Events', the festival centres on olives, offering twists on olives and olive oils, preserves and tapenades, as well as a wide selection of olive-based beauty products.

Events and activities over the weekend will include art exhibitions, performance-art shows, music, dance and acting, while informal market stalls will offer food-on-the-move, handcrafted jewellery, clothing and collectibles.
