The Western Cape craft products will be showcased at both a collective shop and at individual craft outlets. The craft producers are all linked to the Cape Craft and Design Institute (CCDI), a Section 21 company set up to support and develop the Western Cape craft sector.
Cape products on display at the SA Handmade Collection will include wireworks, ceramics, beadwork, furniture, soft toys, stationery and more from the likes of Stoor Ceramics, Casamento, Woo-men Plush Toys, Art from the Heart, Wola Nani, Karoo Star CC, Urbanative, Give it Bag and The Letter Press Company.
The colour scheme is blue and white and an ishweshwe design will be incorporated on the stand, which has been funded by the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti).
