The exhibitors, hosted by the Johannesburg Indian consulate in partnership with the Apparel Export Promotion Council of India, were in Cape Town last week to show their fabrics and designs.
These collections have been specifically tailored for the South African market and incorporate the latest trends, colours and fabrics.
The aim of the trade show is to promote mutually beneficial trade between South Africa and India, explore possible joint ventures and investments with local manufacturers, and build long-term partnerships with the South African textiles and retail industry.
