Potters, start your wheels
Entry is open to members of Ceramics South Africa for the 2008 Corobrik National Ceramics Exhibition, hosted by Ceramics SA.

The diversity of work of high standards that is presently being created by South Africa's leading ceramists will be showcased, as selected by the assigned curators. Corobrik will be presenting a Premier Award of R15,000 and two Merit Awards of R5,000 each.
Selections will take place in early August in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. A support grant from BASA (Business and Art South Africa) will enable rural potters from Limpopo, KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape and Free State to participate.
The exhibition will take place at the UJ Art Gallery corner Kingsway & University Road Auckland Park Johannesburg from 27 August - 23 September 2008.
The Award Judge is the internationally renowned British ceramist, Peter Beard. Whilst in the country he will also be presenting workshops in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg.
The exhibition will be open to the public and all work will be for sale.
