The first advertiser to grab the opportunity to brand these dispensers is iconic household brand Dettol and consumers have welcomed the move at various Builders Warehouse and Makro stores.
The simple yet effective use of the stations enables consumers to keep their hands clean in areas where germs are most likely to spread. Consumers interact directly with the Dettol brand when they use the freely available wet wipes to wipe down trolley handles and keep their toddlers clean while shopping at Builders Warehouse and Makro stores nationally.
"Both retail outlets have already demanded more dispensers for use by their customers, even though the promotion was only launched late last year," says Storm Ackerman, Icon Media's GM.
"Dettol is equally delighted with the result. Besides effectively portraying its hard hitting hand hygiene educational drive, it is seen to be providing convenient solutions to consumers in such a way that its brand is bound to be remembered," he adds.
